 Do you have any idea how difficult it is to find a pair of WHITE men's dress shoes that Lindsay will LIKE for the wedding???  

She wants shoes that look like this: 


But those shoes are like, $63.00 and they're on a website that I've never heard of.  

I can't find shoes like this ANYWHERE else.  Dr. Martins has some I think....but they're hella expensive too.  
Stupid white mens dress shoes....Grr....

Funny enough, I think that's where this picture came from. I hadn't heard of the website, so that makes me a little uneasy. Plus, they're $63.00 which is a bit more than we want to pay for shoes she'll never wear again. :)

well that site's legit, i know people that have ordered from there...it's like a DSW online. there's a shit ton of shoes i'd like to buy from there...but, alas, no moolah.

and i'd hate to break it to ya, but i doubt you'll find a pair of shoes like that for less than $60ish. do they have to be "dress shoes"? why not get a pair of classic white adidas...? they're going to be under pants, and not exactly the center of attention anyway. i think adidas would fit Lindz anyway. ;) i duno. maybe just another option to think about...and probably a hell of a lot easier to find.

well what she actually wants is white dr. Martins. I'll let her know that you're familiar with Zappos.com, and maybe she'll lean a little more towards it. Right now we've got our DJ--who also runs a wedding apparel rental shop-- looking into something acceptable.

I'd rather have her in dress shoes...I think that with her in a white satin suit, and me in a 300.00 dress, white adidas might look out of place. :) It was a good suggestion though!

Get the lightest-colored pair of suitable shoes Lindsay can wear comfortably and a bottle of white shoe dye.

except that the only shoes we can find that she likes are either black or brown. So it probably wouldn't turn out too good. :(
